Hydrangea shaped with moderate fragrance, the flower changes its color at different stages, it is green when first opens, turns pink when fully opened, final stage very pale pink, the underside of the petals are pale green; plant height to 5 feet; a strong grower; a traditional cultivar.

JIAO LONG SAN BIAN, «Dragone delle acque». Al centro ha dei petaloidi verdastri e in Cina questo particolare lo identifica con la presenza di un dragone, creature miriche in grado di provocare grandi sconvolgimenti. Ha caratteristiche parzialmente simili alla cultivar n. 18, ma i petali sono rosati. Fiore stradoppio a forma di ortensia, fioritura precoce.

JIAO LONG SAN BIAN "Water Dragon" At the centre of the flowers there are some greenish petaloids, and in China these are particularly associated with the presence of a dragon, a mythical creature that can cause great havoc. Its characteristics are rather similar to those of No. 20 (DOU LU), but its petals are pinkish. Flowers: white tinged with pink; folly double, hydrangea form, early flowering.
