At the APS meeting this year Peter offered to select one of the tallest of his plants as a auction item. If I remember correctly it sold for under $35.00 with few bidders. Showing the differences that breeders are wanting in their breeding stock. I want shorter pot size plants but I would also like big and very small leafed types. Others want the larger bold plants. Which brings to mind the cultivar Butch which I have been eyeing at Don's for a couple of years. It is a very masculan plant. Tough looking, straight stems, tall with larger leaves. Has anyone used it for breeding? If so did you find that the height carried through to it's offspring?
