Zi Hong Cheng Yan. Crown form. Flowers 15cm x 9cm, purplish red, the margins pinkish white (67-B); the outer petals 2-whorled, fairly large, slightly toothed, the inner petals fairly small, crowded, wrinkled, purple basal blotches, most stamens petaloid, pistils normal; floral discs purplish red, stigma red. Stalks straight, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, erect. Branches slender, stiff. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, sparse; petiolules long; leaflets flat, apex obtuse, upper surface fairly rough. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Guose Peony Garden, Luoyang in 1992. |
