Jian Rong. Crown form. Flowers 16cm x 8cm, light red faintly purple (57-D); the outer petals 3-4-whorled, stiff, suffused with purple at the base; the inner petals crowded, finely toothed, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present, pistils small or petaloid. Stalks short, flowers upright. Flowering late. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium-sized, thick; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex. Growth vigorous, flower form unusual; very adaptable, resistant to diseases. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in.1982.
