Beijing Botanical Garden with Prof. Zhong
Prof. Zhong, director of the Beijing Botanical Garden, waited our group and guided us through the garden. The new collection of the japanese tree peonies was on the peak of bloom. Everybody was impressed by the size of the shrubs and - even more – the size of the flowers. I have never seen japanese tree peonies in such a good shape. Thanks to the good care and the rich soil here in Beijing.
