Tibet, in Nynigchi. The first cultivated plants in the Ecological Research Institute of Xizang (Tibet) Plateau. A very fine form of Paeonia delavayi with large and bright yellow flowers, less than 1 meter high. This should be a good mother plant for the upcoming chinese lutea hybrids!! Also a large number of Paeonia ludlowii, and 3 cultivated Paeonia sterniana, the first plants I have seen in my life, but long after flower.
