26.07.2001 Damit jeder die richtige Schreibweise graphisch und unbestreitbar mal vor Augen hat: Die Erstbeschreibungen von Komarow grafisch nachbearbeitet : Because there are so many wrong spellings of the names of these two species, desribed first by Komarow in 1921. Here are the names in the original and the entire paper of Komarow too!

25.07.2001 Ich habe die Übersetzung von der Erstbeschreibung von P. carthalinica und majko noch einmal überarbeitet und jetzt auch die Bilder eingefügt. Vor 1 Jahr konnte ich das noch nicht. Die Bilder sind zwar sehr mager, aber authentisch, und deshalb gut. Halda sieht Carthalinica übrigens als authentisch mit Biebersteiniana an und Majko als eigenständige hybride Art, wie auch Kemularia-Nathadse Ketzchoveli N N Zwei neue Päonien in der Flora Georgiens I have corrected again the translation of the first description of P. carthalinica & majko and made finally scans of the pictures too. They are of a very poor quality, but nevertheless authentic and thus good enough!! Ketzchoveli N N Two new peonies of the Flora of Grusinia

21.07.2001 Diese Woche keine Halda-Bilder, ich hatte dafür leider keine Zeit. Dafür habe ich mir weiter die Sektion 'hybrid' vorgenommen. Von fertig kann nicht die Rede sein, aber so gefällt mir es besser. Mal testen, wie alles online funktioniert und wie lang die Ladezeiten werden mit den vielen Grafik-Dateien. This week no Halda-pictures, it seems everybody is on vacations, there was no response on my last week's pictures. So, this week I have worked on the 'hybrid' section, but I'm far from being ready, I was only checking and correcting, what I have done some years ago, and I have started to integrate the new pictures. I will have to test, how fast it is, because with the large number of graphic-files this might be a problem

Ich habe in dieser Woche angefangen, die Sektion [hybrid] zu überarbeiten. Bisher war ja alles unbebildert und unverlinkt. Jetzt habe ich aber so viele Bilder zusammen, daß sich das lohnt. Aber das ist noch eine Mordsarbeit, die noch lange brauchen wird This week I have started to work on my very old files in the section [hybrid] . The original files were without pictures and unlinked, but now I have so many pictures and files with authentic registrations and descriptions online here, that it makes sense to reorganise all. But I will need some months to finish this.

Ab heute ändert sich das Erscheinungbild wieder etwas. Es wird wochenweise Updates geben, und in jeder 'Sitzung' gibt es die versammelten Bilder zu je einer Spezies. Ich bemühe mich, auch die Literatur an passender Stelle zu versammeln und auch Hybriden etc. zusammenzustellen (so vorhanden). Durch die Bilder von Josef Halda und die von mir in seinem Garten angefertigten sowie die vielen per Post oder Email zugesandten Bilder bin ich jetzt in der Lage, nach und nach so ziemlich alle Spezies abzubilden, und ich würde gerne die Gelegenheit nutzen, eine Diskussion zu den jeweiligen Arten anzuwerfen, deren Ergebnisse dann auch hier gesammelt werden. Der einfachste Weg wären die Foren unter den beiden ganz unten angegebenen Adressen. Wer noch nicht angemeldet ist, sollte das nachholen. Es kostet nichts und man braucht nur seine Email-Adresse, um mitzumachen. Ich bin des weiteren an allen Bildern zu Spezies interessiert, besonders wenn die Pflanzen eine gesicherte Herkunft haben. Wer sich orientieren möchte, wann welche Arten dran sind, kann die verlinkten Vorschauen (monatsweise) benutzen.

From now on every week I will bring new pictures from the garden and the slides of Josef Halda together with the updated files about these species, collected by me. This will contain pictures made by me and also all the pictures sent from friends of this website by mail or email. The compilation is going on and will take many more weeks for me, so I can start only step by step. But I will link up the preview pictures much earlier. This is to give everybody of my visitors time enough to share their own pictures with me and to load them up here too. I am interested in all pictures from plants with known origin from natural sites (seeds with collector-numbers or divisions of plants, which have been brought home from natural sites), but also in pictures from plamts with uncertain origin, because it is interesting to compare these plants with each other. Meanwhile I will compile the scientific literature to each species too. If you want to know, what will follow next, please use the monthly previews on the left.
