07.10.2001 Nach den Einbauten der vielen Namen aus der APS-Registrierung haben sich die Ladezeiten der Seiten vergrößert. Ich könnte jetzt die Dateien teilen, damit die einzelnen Stücke schneller laden. Das würde aber die Übersichtlichkeit verringern, weil man dann häufiger die Datei wecheln muß (z.B. A – Af, Ag – Ap, Aq – Az, B – Bf ....) Was ist besser ?? After building in the APS name register into the file section the loading times ahev increased substantially. I would have the possibility to divide these into 3 or 5 parts each, but this would mean a loss of comfort. What's your opinion??

06.10.2001 Die ersten Seiten bei den 'namen' sind überarbeitet, es ist umfangreicher, als ich dachte. Ich versuche mit dem Abgleich der APS-Registrierung gleich einige Unstimmigkeiten zu beseitigen, aber es sind mehr Fehler und Ungereimtheiten, als ich dachte. . Ich versuchte, von der APS unabhängige Quellen einzubinden, um einerseits die auf Nichtkenntnis basierenden Schreibfehler nichtamerikanischer Namen einzudämmen, andererseits dem Vorhandensein nichtamerikanischer Quellen mehr Rechnung zu tragen. Somit tauchen hier auch chinesische und japanische und deutsche und holländische und russische .... Sorten auf, die bisher nirgends online waren. Aber ich fürchte, es wird noch sehr lange dauern und viel Kraft kosten, hier zu einem abschließendem Ergebnis zu kommen. Möchte jemand helfen?????? from Oct. 2001 on, the 'name' section is under complete reconstruction! I have started with the begin. I have started with some slight corrections in the registrations done by the APS, which occured mainly in wrong spelling of not-english names, like french and german, because the registrar seemed not to speak these languages. For this purpose I have corrected the french names by using the publications of Rivière, who's mother tongue is french. Additionally to the APS files informations from chinese, japanese, russian, german, swedish, fench and other sources will appear in the compilation, so with time, I hope, this will be a much more complete compilation of peony names than the every other existing. At least this is my goal. But, it is a very time – digesting undertaking.

01.10.2001 Eine Ergänzung zu den Samenbildern vom 18.09.: Ich hatte die Samen 2 Wochen liegen gelassen, weil ich keine Zeit hatte, sie gleich zu säen – und siehe da, die gelben Lactiflora-Samen sind jetzt auch schön braun geworden.
