Tao Li Zheng Yan. Rose form, sometimes chrysanthemum form occurs. Flowers 16cm x 5cm, red (52-D), pink at the apex; petals stiff, dark purple basal blotches, arranged regularly; stamens slightly petaloid; pistils numerous, floral discs deep purple. Stalks, fairly short, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches fairly stout. Leaves long, medium-sized, stiff, crowded; leaflets long ovate, the margins slightly curved upwards, acute at the apex. Growth medium; flowers many, tolerant of strong sunshine. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1982. |
