Flowers 12cm x 6cm, deep pinkish red (58-C); the outer petals 3-4- whorled, stiff, flat; the inner petals fairly sparse, wrinkled, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present; pistils small. Stalks long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches relatively stout. Leaves orbicular, medium-sized, thick, stiff, sparse; leaflets nearly orbicular, flat, obtuse at the apex. Growth rather vigorous, flowers many. Classic variety. |
