White Flowers
First in this group are shown pure white flowers. They are followed by white flowers with coloured sheaths, by flowers with flares at the base of the petals and by those flushed with pale pink at the base. Finally come white flowers with pale brownish-yellow shading. These last mentioned varieties were prized for a long time before bright yellow hybrid peonies became available.
