In May 2001 I collected pollen on the natural site of P. mascula ssp. bodurii in the Canakkale prov. of Turkey. A handful of friends in the USA, Canada and Germany were sent fresh pollen – and the first seeds arrived me from Dr. James Waddick of Kansas City in August the same year! The seeds showed germination in March 2002
