Obs. — Sépales orbiculaires, acuminés. Petales obcorilcs, nombreux (trés nombreux par duplicature). Étamines à filet liliforme; á peine plus large a la base; anthère lancéolée on longuement elliptique, Disque court, denté crénelé, peu visible dans la fleur. Carpelles 3, rarement 5, glabres, peu atténués au sommet; style court, oblique, non circiné. — Rarement on trouve des échantillons, à carpelles velus et feuilles parsemées de poils rares, tres semblables au P.pubens
