Paeonia Beresowskii Kom. sp. nov.. (Sectio Paeon DC.) Caulis totus herbaceus usque mentralis glaberrimus 3 - 8 foliatus, basi squamis oblongis cinctus. Folia inferiora 1-3, longepetiolata glaberrima, biternata membranacea, laete viridia, supra lucida, subtus pallida, segmentis basi longiter cuneati profunde incisis subpinnatis lobis lanceolatis vel lanceolato-acuminatis, margine integro; folia superiora brevius petioilata, subfloralia simplica pinnatim incisa parva. Flores solitarii 58 cent diam. albi vel dilute rosei ; calyx bracteis 3 lanceolatis foliaceiis integris vel incisis quam corolla longioribus suffultus, lobis longiter acuminatis subtus breviter pilosus; petala, 2 4 cent. longa obovata apice integra vel rarius erosa obcordata; filamenta numerosissima filiformia circ. 1 cent longa flavida antheris pallide luteis circ. 3,5 mill. lg.; discus brevis, folliculi saepis 2 dense tomentosi, stigmata stipitata obliqua, semina opace nigra. Petala dilute rosea vel alba, foliorum lacinii quam in planta chinensi latiores. Nomen dedi in catalogo Horti Pomologia Kesselringii anno 1902. P.
