CLAUDIA (Saunders, 1944) - Semi-Double - Pink - Hybrid. 3 ½' high. Opens light cherry, becoming pale salmon pink. Golden heart. Albiflora x lobata. List in Bulletin 129.
CLEMENCEAU (Dessert, 1920) - Double - Pink - Late Midseason. Very tall. Slight tea-rose fragrance. Large. Inner surface of petals rich glowing rose-pink; compact, globular form, a little thin at the collar, developing a very flat corwn packed full of small petals arranged in rose form. Strong growth; free blooming. Well furnished with dark green foliage. A bold, handsome bloom of striking color; extra good for landscape effects. Usually opens better than late varieties. M.

COLONEL LINDBERG (Kunderd, 1927) - Double - Red - Early. A beautiful deep, dark red of elegant form and loosely double. The form of the main and lateral flowers is similar to a wide and shapely water lily and on young plants shows an attractive mingling of golden anthers. As plants become older the blooms become more fully double and distinct in form. A deep rose red in color. Blooms at least three days earlier than officinalis Rubra. Bulletin 31.

CONQUISTADOR (Jones, 1937) - Double - Pink - Late. 40" tall. Delicious fragrance. A distinct and-beautiful double pink with a decided lavender sheen. Extremely large flowers with a delicious fragrance. Plant vigorous and foliage dark green. While late blooming and fully double the immense buds open up perfectly under adverse conditions sometimes affecting late blooming doubles. Bulletin 71.
