Officinalis rubra plena x albiflora MME. JULES DESSERT. Letter from Mrs. Freeborn, 1956, says it is a full double. Bulletin 90.

CORAL GLOW (Klehm, 1951) - Double - Pink - Late Midseason. Tall. Deep, bright pink, rose type flower on tall vigorous stems. Good exhibition flower. Bulletin 122.
CORALIE (Saunders, 1940) - Single - Pink - Hybrid. Lovely single lusterless coral pink. Petals slightly crinkled. Albiflora x lobata. Lists in Bulletins 91 & 129.
CORAL ISLE (Kelsey, 1939) - Semi-Double - Pink - Late. Real coral color. Makes a striking color splash. Nothing like i-t in the garden. A real break in peony color. List in Bulletin 109,
CORAL QUEEN (H. P. Sass, 1937) - Double - Pink - Late. Tall. A full double, low growing, rose type, blush pink, slightly deeper in center. Faint rose dots on bloom. Not nearly so deep a pink as name would indicate. Very outstanding flower in its color and a fine exhibition sort. Bulletin 69.

CORDOVA (Auten, 1946) - Jap - White. A very large bloom, white with light yellow center. Fine plant. Outstanding. Auten's catalog.
CORINNE (Auten, 1925) - Single - Pink - DISCARDED. Formerly CONSTANCE . List in Bulletin 91.
CORINNE WERSAN (Krekler, 1955) - Double - White - Midseason. About 30" tall. Large, with small cupped center of palest pink, lighting up the white petals with sulphur bases. Some undeveloped white stamens. Minute pink tipped carpels. Stems strong, well clothed to the base. Bulletin 138.
CORINTH (Saunders, 1929) - Double - White-Hybrid - DISCARDED. List in Bulletin 129.
CORNELIA SHAYLOR (Shaylor, 1919) (1917) - Double - Light Pink - Late. Tall. Very faint fragrance. Large. High-built blooms with immense guards of pale rose, a collar of flesh-white, and a slightly darker shade in the compact, rose-like center; strong stems. Flori-ferous; dark glossy foliage. An exceedingly impressive flower of globular appearance, and while it is decidely pink on opening, it becomes almost white with a greenish tint at the base of the petals. Generally considered a reliable late sort which opens its buds well. M.
CORNELIA STONE (Gumm, 1929) - Double - Pink - Midseason. A charming light pink that is very much admired by all who see it. It has much the same coloring as Tourangelle but a much strong stem. List in Bulletin 91.

CORNIE MOORE (Kelsey, 1940) - Single - Red - Early. Wild catalog says 1934. Date of registration 1940. Tall. Fragrant. A deep red (garnet), a glossy sheen. Flowers large and showy. Plant strong; a vigorous grower with red stems. Foliage dark green. Very long lasting bloom. Bulletin 80.
CORONATION (Kelway, 1902) - Double - Pink - Late Midseason. Medium height. Delicate fragrance, somewhat like lilacs. Very large shallowly cupped guards and prominent collar covered in the later stages by an irregular, circular crown of many ragged petals graduated to the center; pale rose-pink, outer crown petals very pale, flecked with crimson on edges, but the center is much darker. Floriferous; stems adequate. Foliage good. A very distinctly shaped and beautiful flower. M.
COUNTESS MARITZA (Nieuwenhuizen, 1935) - Double - Pink to White - Early. Tall. Opens soft pink, changing to white, yellow at the base. Yellow stamens hiding between the petals. When just open, light Havana color at base. Perfect rose shape. Dark green foliage. Bulletin 61.

COURONNE D'OR (Calot, 1873) - Double - White - Late. Syn. DOROTHY E. KIBBY. Medium height. Strong fragrance, like water lilies. Large, full, evenly rounded white flowers illumined near the center by a ring of yellow stamens, center petals tipped with crimson; very floriferous; strong stems. Good foliage. A dependable, later white sort of good habit for both cutting and garden decoration. Some find its odor disagreeable. Dependable. M.
CRAB APPLE - Semi-double - Pink. Mr. Peyton got it from A. M. Riley, Independence, Kansas and gave it to Mr. Krekler. Listed by Krekler, 1955.
CREVE COUR (Auten, 1929) - Jap. - Red - Midseason. Tall. Rose fragrance. A brilliant dark red anemone Jap. Center at first darker than guards. Later changes to name color, and a distinct narrow white line appears on the outside of the petaloids, running from the base along the center for about 2/3 of the length, the stripe widening and irregular at its upper end. Medium sized blooms, carried on tall, stiff slender stems. (A miniature). Bulletin 39.
CRIMSON BOMB (Freeborn, 1943) - Double - Red - Midseason - Hybrid. Very double deep crimson. Foliage distinctive and graceful. Flowers very double, opening very slowly to a well formed, deep crimson bomb, which holds its color for a long time. Desirable garden plant Officinalis rubra plena x MME. JULES DESSERT. Bulletin 91.
